Ka'apuni Grill is proudly serving inside Lumpia Bros Cafe through an ongoing partnership. Together, we're bringing authentic Hawaiian Huli Huli Chicken and island-inspired flavors to the Central Coast every Friday and Saturday. We invite you to dine with us, pre-order your meals online, or stop by and enjoy fresh Hawaiian food prepared in the restaurant each week.

The word Ka'apuni means "to rotate" in Hawaiian — to change direction, to move forward, to begin again.
For us, it represents more than food. It represents transformation.
Growing up with a deep appreciation for hard work, community, and faith, our founder built Ka'apuni on three principles: Excellence. Hospitality. Purpose.
Huli Huli chicken is traditionally cooked over open flame, slowly rotated and basted to perfection. That process reflects something deeper — growth requires heat, patience, and intentional care.

Ace & Laura
Founders of Ka'apuni
Ace and Laura have been married for over 21 years and love serving the Lord together. Ace is a local pastor in Grover Beach, California, and Laura leads worship.
While they are not from Hawaii, they have a deep love for Hawaiian food — especially Huli Huli style BBQ chicken. What started as a love for great food quickly became a passion for bringing people together.
For Ace and Laura, the food is great, but the real purpose is gathering with people, meeting new friends, and building community. Through Ka'apuni, their goal is not only to serve delicious food but also to give back — supporting their local community and helping people around the world.
